The Cosmetology and Spa Academy was established in 1998. Cosmetology and Spa Academy in Crystal Lake offers incoming students classroom schedules that help to fit the students’ needs as well as offering licensing in Barbering, Esthetics, and Cosmetology. This campus offers a full range of salon, barber, and spa services where the students learn hands-on practical skills on live models and real mannequins while receiving individualized attention from our highly skilled instructors. The campus has good equipment for our students to learn from our shampoo area to our spa area. 					The only my thing better students eager to learn & practice is a fabulous instructor! Mr. Kurt has many decades... read more of experience & truly cares about not only each student, but the clients as well. He has lots of energy & educates not only the student, but the clients about best practices too. Just know the work takes longer since everyone is learning & work is overseen & checked. If you are looking for a swanky salon & love to spend hundreds of dollars for your cut & color, this is not your place. But if you want to be treated like a friend from people who truly care about your hair - try it!

					Been coming here off & on since 2009. It's a great place to get your hair colored & styled for... read more an affordable price. To get a facial & or waxing. I never had a bad service. I always felt amazing after leaving. Naomi did a great job cutting and styling my hair.
